Getting Closer

Okay, so the ten days came and went, but Asuang: Shapechanging Horrors still isn't here. On behalf of my Lord and Master, I would like to apologize for that. However, things are looking up. The interior design made by John Corpuz has just been finished, and as James returns as both our Layout and Cover artist, it's all in her hands now. I have seen the lineart of the cover, and I can confidently say that the release is very close now.

In fact, since we might go out on vacation next week, our Lord and Master insists that we finish it before then! I suppose he's right - it just doesn't seem right to go on vacation when you have somehting unfinished that's waiting back at home.

In other news, I am well at work with the nuno and the diwata (gnomes and eladrin in the Buan Campaign Setting), but the path that we're taking just doesn't feel right yet. When incorporating real world mythologies into a game, a certain balance between staying true to the original stories and keeping it within the context of the game should be attained. Currently, our most recent writing endeavor is too much of the original story. It ends up not making sense in play. Pardon me if I keep mum about the details for now.

The arnis pdf is also beginning to shape up. I'm not the author for that one so I can't delve into the specifics, but I have it on good authority that the martial art will be represented by a multiclass feat, and will favor the various two-weapon builds.
